My Winter Lolita Plans

Fall has been my favorite season since I was little. It is still my absolute favorite time of the year! I love the leaves as they slowly change from a vibrant green into brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows. My favorite aspect must be the temperature! I find that Fall is the most comfortable time of the year for me to wear lolita clothing. The only season second to Fall is Winter! While I love the iconic winter wonderland landscape that New England creates so masterfully each year. The crazy truth of the matter is simply that: I don't own any winter lolita clothes.

I know, it is crazy. I plan to eliminate this appalling wardrobe problem once and for all this year!

Earmuffs

I decided to start with the smallest article of my winter wardrobe first. Lucky, I had saved enough reward points and credit on My-Lolita-Dress to be able to buy a pair of earmuffs. As I browsed the website, I stumbled across this piece by LEGINA. With the adorable combination of a lovely layered pink hair bow and two large and fluffy white earmuffs, how could I resist? They are super warm, too!

Winter Coat

I fell in love with a short MAXICIMAM coat in lovely size, but it has since sold out. It is probably for the best, as many of MAXICIMAM's tops are snug at the shoulders and the arms for me. I found numerous Sweet Lolita coat that can be customized to any measurements on My-Lolita-Dress! It will be very nice to own a warm winter coat that is also comfortable to wear over many lolita layers.

There are quite a few adorable styles for lolita winter wear, but I am most impressed with this particular pair of gloves! I find them incredibly charming, elegant and, most importantly, warm. The gloves are constructed of faux leather. With these, I can face the chill of winter while being stylish.

Honestly, I have been unable to choose a pair of lolita boots, as there are so many fantastic options! I am particularly taken with ankle style boots. I feel that they would be an easier fit than the knee-high styled boots that I adore so much. Hopefully, I can pick a style soon!

Do you already have Lolita clothes for winter? Do you have some articles that you are fond of?  I would love to read your responses!

Stay Frilly~

As someone who’s had faux leather gloves before, be wary of their quality. Too low and they will peel really quickly just from putting them on and off. I got a pair of fabric gloves from Axes Femme which are lovely and soft and warm (though not particularly friendly for very cold temperatures or wetness of any kind) and they often have some leather/faux leather designs in autumn as well that I’d recommend you to look at. Cutie Creator on Taobao also has cute gloves, as well as ear muffs, that would fit a variety of substyles.
