Review: Glitter Tale for a Plus-Size Lolita
Glitter Tale is a lolita fashion brand located in Hanoi, Vietnam. This brand offers custom sizing! With their great selection of blouses, skirts, dresses, and accessories there is always something that I need.

I ordered three items from Glitter Tale:
Custom 47 (Blouse)

I contacted Glitter Tale with the items that I wished to buy. Originally, I had wanted to buy this print as a dress. The shipping price, however, was much higher than I anticipated. I ordered a skirt instead. Now that my items are here, I am very happy with them all!
Blouse
You know that you love a blouse when you order another in a similar style! For some closet versatility I ordered the same design as my previous Glitter Tale blouse purchase as a long-sleeve option.
I just love how classic this blouse is. With it's peter pan collar and a simple line it is the perfect blouse for any Sweet or Classic Lolita coordinate. I wanted something that had these classic elements to accompany my strawberry skirt and headbow. The conservative sweetness will allow me to make accessories, such as my signature necklace from BB and B Deco, really pop.
The material used is really soft, yet durable. The cotton fabric has a very creamy texture. Even after a day out, the blouse maintained its shape. Everything, from the design to the stitching, is lovely.
When Glitter Tale requested my measurements, for some reason I thought the sleeve would not include the lace. The sleeves are a bit short, but you really cannot tell when it is worn. The blouse features pearl buttons along the length of the blouse and at the cuffs. There is also a hidden snap on the inside fold of the cuffs. This makes it handy to remove the blouse and the cuffs keeps their shape.

As with previous blouses that I have purchased from Glitter Tale, there were yellow chalk lines. These marks are made when the measurements are done. The marks usually come out with a few washes.

The overall design of the blouse is charming and classic. It looks great when worn out or tucked in. This way, there are multiple coordinate options. I love how flattering the blouse is when worn! Not only is the design lovely, but the material is fantastic as well. I just hope the chalk marks wash out.
Headbow
The headbow is very pretty! Glitter Tale asked me what type of bow that I wanted. Hitomi has a very cute bow in this shape, so I asked for a similar one! The bow has the same bold print as the skirt.
Skirt
The bow features a slender base. This makes it much easier to wear. On this headband, you will find cutlery, frosting, and pearls. The lace on the headbow looks delicate, but it its very soft and durable.

I really like this piece! Due to the slender base, it is easy to wear, and the fabric is of a good quality.
And now, for the main piece! I love this fabric. I saw this material on Taobao and I fell in love with it. The print features frosting, cutlery, ribbons, strawberry flowers, hearts, sprinkles, pearls, and wafers. With so many elements to choose from, I look forward to planning lolita coordinates with this skirt.
Glitter Tale has done a great job with the designs for this fabric! I couldn't wait to see the result.
Not only is the grosgrain waist bow precious, it is also removable! I like that the bow is optional.
The bottom of the skirt features this fun fringe! I love the polka dots. It ties in well with the pearls. Each aspect of the skirt is well made. As with the headbow, the fabric used is very nice. The print is bold, but the material is soft and durable. The skirt has even stitching, and the skirt is fully lined.
The skirt features two beautiful waist ties. These waist ties are optional. The waist tie can easily be removed or attached via pearl buttons at the sides. The wide waist ties feature the cute print, too!

I have zero complaints with this skirt! The fabric is fantastic! The fabric is of a high quality and the print is bold. I really like Glitter Tale's skirt design. The skirt is fully lined, which is an added bonus!

Communication: 7/10
The communication with this order was a bit choppy. My questions received answers within 24 hours. However, Glitter Tale incorrectly identified the fabric that I chose. Also, after I paid my invoice, they stated that if I wanted a headbow it would be an additional cost. I had already paid for all of the items, including the headbow. You can see why I was a bit nervous to see how my items turned out.

The workmanship and material used for all the items is great! The designs are perfect and very flattering. I love how soft, but durable everything is. This is the chase even when the items are worn! The lace and ribbon used is lovely, too. All of the items were made to the given measurements.
Shipping: 8 / 10
I used EMS shipping. When I contacted Glitter Tale for the price to ship a blouse, skirt, and the headbow I received a quote of $59 for EMS and $45 for air mail. As someone who orders often from the domestic and international market, these prices are higher than I have ever seen. It was a shock. The items came in a paper envelope, but the items were sealed in a lovely plastic bag. The paper bag had a tear on the back. Thankfully, the items arrived safely and dry due to the plastic shipping bag.
