Review: Dream Holic Wigs for Lolita Fashion

After years of Dream Holic wigs on social media, I finally ordered my first two wigs! Dream Holic was holding a Black Friday sale and the excuse was so perfect, I just had to participate.

While I was unable to find the Taobao shop for this company, the English website was very easy to navigate. There were so many beautiful designs that it was difficult to pick just a few pieces! Eventually, I settled on two styles:

Both wigs were packaged extremely well. They were undisturbed from their journey!

The blonde wig was super soft, even before I got it out of the net! The soft ringlets have a beautiful style and bounce to them. I was very happy to see that, while these wigs are thinner than many cosplay wigs, I did not see any bare spots that showed the wig netting. Since the bangs are styled, I didn't have to cut them! The two combs kept my wig in place easily. Size adjustments are easy, too.

As for the multi-colored pigtail wig, I cannot get over how beautiful the color is! It truly looks like I dyed my hair and let it grow out. Like the Märchen wig, the fibers are extremely soft to the touch. None of the netting is visible when worn. I did have some trouble getting the pigtails to stay, but once they did the wig looked incredible! This wig also has two combs to ensure your wig doesn't slip.

Overall Rating:

Ordering/Shipping

The website was very easy to navigate. Once my items were purchased, they were sent in a timely manner. The shipping fees were reasonable for overseas and both wigs were packaged carefully. The presentation was fantastic, too!

Quality

If you are looking for quality wigs with a realistic feel and at a reasonable price, this brand has it! I am very impressed with the structure of my wigs, the overall design, the softness of the fibers, and how they have held up after being worn. While I do need to tidy the ringlets after I wear the wig, it is simple to do, and the finished product looks amazing! My only regret is that I didn't order sooner!

Do you wear wigs in lolita fashion? If you do, what are some of your favorite wig brands? How do you style your natural hair in lolita?
