When I learned Angelic Pretty would be re-releasing this iconic print, it took everything for me not to scream! I'd finally have a chance to snag a dress that stole my heart in 2010.

A long time ago...
2010 was an excellent time for Sweet Lolita. The Old School classic Sweet Lolita was evolving to include multicolored wigs, bi-colored shoes, plush toy bags, and wonderful hair accessories. Original colorful prints complimented this over-the-top style!
Many of these popular Angelic Pretty series, including Sugary Carnival, Honey Cake, and Milky Planet, have had re-releases recently. I have been extremely fortunate enough to participate in all of them!
So, why Milky Planet?
Milky Planet has many elements that I love about Sweet Lolita! There are sweets, animals, carnival rides, a castle, rainbows, stars, and moons, and the entire original print is in vibrant pastels and glitter. I may get a cavity just from staring at this print!
I still get butterflies when I see pictures of this release! I've spent hours as a beginner Lolita daydreaming and coordinating this dress. Not only did I fall in love with prints due to this design, but my immediate draw solidified my identity as a Sweet Lolita.

The dress for the release looks nearly identical to the 2010 version! With its triple bowed collar, the top of the dress beautifully compliments the scalloped skirt of the dress.
The piece is slightly more size accommodating, which is always a plus!

My Order Request
I placed an order with Angelic Pretty USA for one Milky Planet Jumperskirt, one pair of the socks, and two headbows in pink. This release doesn't accommodate my measurements, so I will be having the dress altered with the waist ties, extra headbow, and a chiffon bustle!
